WHAT'S AN ALDERMAN?

The nine-member Board of Mayor & Aldermen (BOMA) serves as the legislative and policy-making body of the City. The Board consists of eight aldermen elected at-large from four wards for four-year staggered terms, and the mayor is elected at-large for a four-year term.

WHY DO I WANT TO BE AN ALDERMAN?

My family and I moved to Spring Hill a little over two years ago.  We looked for "Best Places to Live in Middle Tennessee" and Spring Hill was one of the cities listed.  We've enjoyed watching the city grow and I would be honored to be elected and serve with the BOMA to speak into the important decisions needed to continue making Spring Hill a desired place to live.  While the city has enjoyed tremendous growth, the focus needs to be continuing the improvement of the infrastructure.  Continuing to build homes and bring in new business without addressing water/sewer or improving our parks is cause for concern.  When looking for "Things to do in Spring Hill" I want to keep people in the city so they don't have to drive to a surrounding community.  Please get out and vote and thank you for visiting votejasoncox.com
